Introducing...

St Edmund's Hall is a beautiful village facility situated in the heart of the village of Hoxne on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. We have a range of regular events six days a week ranging from village clubs, exercise classes and markets.

We also have flim nights, fund-raising quizzes, live music, plays and over events as well as being a wonderful venue for wedding receptions, parties and business meetings

Modernised and extended in 2000, the hall has been sympathetically restored and very well maintained. The hall consists of three areas which can be hired collectively or as individual rooms depending on need. We have a lounge/bar area with permanent tables, the main hall with stage and the activity room with Kitchen. Free wi-fi.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HALL REMAINS CLOSED.

The Hall Committee met on 24 September 2020 to discuss the re-opening of the Hall. We carefully considered the Government Guidelines for Village Halls, the rule of 6, recent further restrictions and the current rising number of Coronavirus cases.

Taking these all into account we regret that we are, at this time, unable to re-open the Hall. We appreciate that this will impact upon activities however, we unanimously decided that this was the only practical course of action for us to take given the current guidance and circumstances.

The Committee may meet again in November, but think it very unlikely that the Hall will re-open until February 2021 at the earliest. Obviously, this is a long time ahead and we all hope that things will change for the better before then.

See hoxne.net for local information during these unusual circumstances
